Jeze Zankich began her dance training in California at Carlsbad Dance Centre, where she first fell in love with tap dance! After moving to Tucson, Arizona at age nine, she was introduced to a protege of Maceo Anderson, one of The Four Step Brothers. She studied and performed their signature repertoire for many years. Jeze began teaching at age 15 to adults and children alike. Upon her move to Los Angeles in 2016, she began training with Johnnie Hobbs and soon after joined the all-female tap company “Tap That” lead by Tellina Lee. Her time with Tap That has given her the opportunity to perform in prestigious venues such as the Dolby Theatre and to appear in numerous high quality video productions with the group. Jeze continues to expand her tap vocabulary by regularly taking class with master teachers, and aims to challenge the boundaries of the dance with her personal style and musicality.
